If you happen to be lucky enough to take a ride around the Nurburgring this summer, you can feel safe on all 73 turns of the Nordschleife knowing that a Nissan has got you covered. That is because the German racetrack has chosen a GT-R->ke1592 as their latest Rapid Response Vehicle. Aside from the carbon fiber Recaro race bucket and the obligatory roll cage, this GT-R features a full fire engine conversion that includes a fire retardant cell in the trunk to house a fire hose and all the necessary hardware to make it work. Is there a better vehicle to fulfill the duties of this 480 HP rapid response vehicle with room for four, at least before they installed the roll cage, either way it can get to any point on the track in under 7 minutes and 26 seconds. Not to mention that the GT-R looks really cool wearing all that vinyl.
