This is the first time each product has been showcased to this extent on an off-road course since their debuts. The course contained rock climbs, steep descents, water obstacles, a rocky rugged terrain and much more. It is the only one of its kind in North Central Texas.
 
Throughout the week, more than 80 automotive media attended the event. "Journalists were amazed at the degree of difficult on this course," said John Stramotas, Model Line Manager for Nissan Frontier. "And I think were just as amazed at how well our trucks handled the rugged terrain."
 
In addition of off-road driving, media also had the opportunity to meet drivers from the Nissan Championship Off-Road Racing (CORR) teams, Chad Hord, Carl Renezeder and Art Schmidt. They drove their Frontier and Titan race trucks on part of the course, demonstrating the high performance characteristics off the off-road vehicles.

The Nissan off-road course was built in a rock quarry that was recently purchased by the town of Bridgeport. The quarry provided an ideal setting for an off-road event. "It was designed to help journalists discover just how capable Nissan's trucks really are in a setting they wouldn't normally take a truck," said Steve Parrett, Nissan Corporate Communications. "It shows we aren't afraid to push our trucks to the limit."
