The SEMA auto show is just around the corner, and recently several manufacturers have been giving us sneak peeks at what they are bringing to the aftermarket world event. The display will be open for the entire show from November 2nd through November 5th at booth #52157 in the West Hall of the Las Vegas convention center.

The Ramer, Nismo End of the Nissan Booth

Not all of Nissan's attendance will be dedicated to over-the-top builds, some are showing off what the in-house tuner Nismo can do. The First car Nissan has announced for the show is the "Nissan Project Overland Pathfinder," which is outfitted with several off-road goodies designed for overlanding.

It features a prototype 2-inch lift kit with Bilstein-sourced shocks riding on 18-inch Nismo wheels on Maxxis RAZR AT tires. There are also several aesthetic Nismo bits bolted to the exterior like a roof box, spotlights, and an "Egoé Nestbox Camper Conversion Kit," which includes a camp kitchen and sleeping accommodations.

The Nissan Project Overland Frontier is quite similar to the equivalent Pathfinder. It has a 2-inch lift as well as 17-inch Nismo wheels with the same Maxxis RAZR AT tires as the Pathfinder. Plus, the exhaust has been modified with a "NISMO Off-Road Performance Cat-Back System." Exterior mods include Nismo bumpers, lamps, camping gear, and a Garmin GPS.

This Frontier was largely stock except for the exhaust, lights, off-road tires, and suspension.

A stock 2023 Nissan Z will also be on display at the show.

The crazy stuff

Of course, what would a Nissan booth at an aftermarket show be without some wild cars?

Nissan GT-R and has a RTS 6XD Sequential Transmission.> It is still a four-seater and built with the same attitude and mission as a formula drift car, except without having to adhere to any rules.

It was built by Chris Forsburg and a partnership between Nissan and Valvoline at the chassis engineering firm Tekk Consulting.

Quite possibly the most exciting car on display will be Sung Kang's "DocZ" Safari Rally-inspired 240Z. The Fast and Furious actor and producer found the old Z in a wretched state of disrepair in Los Angeles. He then stuffed an original L24 straight-six engine that was enlarged to 2.8-liters and fitted with a custom head, triple Weber carbs, and custom exhaust.

"DocZ" also had a makeover in the handling department with 16-inch '78 Nanakorobi Yaoki' wheels. Nissan said, " are a tribute to the Kobe Seiko-style wheel that was standard on the Z432." Additionally, the exterior also features a two-tone black-over-red paint scheme and a roof rack with a full-size spare strapped to it.
