When it comes to buying cars, not a lot of people can say they have the financial resources to scoop up a million-dollar ride. The same can be said, of course, with buying a watch. And while a lot of automakers - the premium ones - have recently teamed up with some pricy timepiecemakers recently, the average Joes like us can take comfort in knowing that we can finally afford one of those collaborative watches.

Nixon - not exactly an authority in creating luxury watches - recently teamed-up with the organizers of Gumball 3000 for a set of special edition watches and headphones that will be marketed towards both fans and participants of the Gumball 3000.

For starters, take out most of those zeroes that usually come with luxury timepieces; the Nixon x Gumball costs $200 a piece, depending on what model you avail. The lack of zeroes can also be attributed to the fact that the watch is devoid of the fancy jewelry that’s prevalent in high-end watches. Instead, the Nixon x Gumball is made from the brand’s Rubber Player wristwatch, which has been treated with a black silicon styling on the strap and the case as well as gold accents on the caseback, crown, and hands.

In addition to that, anyone can match up their new watch with a set of special edition headphones that come with a price tag ranging from $60 to $75. If anyone is interested, these items can be found at Nixon stores all over the world, but since these watches are of limited quantity, buyers might want to scoop one up before they’re sold out.

hmm with a $200 price tag, I’d rather get myself a fossil watches... it’s more elegant and classy than the Gumball.
