The Ferrari 812 Superfast, introduced in 2017 as a replacement for the F12berlinetta, is without doubt one of the sexiest grand tourers on the market today. And while most competitors pack turbocharged engines, Ferrari remained loyal to the mighty, naturally aspirated V-12. Some say that the 812 Superfast is the perfect modern grand tourer as far as links to iconic models like the 250 GTO go, but YouTube's Mr JWW seems to think that the Italian GT can be improved. How? By pairing the open-top layout of the GTS with a Novitec exhaust system.

Needless to say, the 812 sounds incredible on its own. The high-revving V-12 engine growls like nothing else out there and at times it even goes into Formula One sonic territory.

But Mr JWW got his hands on an 812 GTS fitted with a Novitec exhaust and things become even louder and wilder. Drive this car with the top down and you'll be surrounded by "the most sonorous, sexual sound" you'll ever hear.

Of course, you might find that the V-12 in the Lamborghini Aventador sounds just as good or even better, but that's a matter of taste. Exhaust system aside, this 21-minute video is a full-blown review of the 812 GTS. If you're a fan of Ferrari's latest grand tourer, you should check it out.

Ferrari 812 GTS

The 812 GTS is the open-top version of the 812 Superfact. Fitted with a retractable hard-top, the 812 GTS is Ferrari's first front-engined V-12 series production convertible in 50 years, as its successors based on the 550, 575, and 599 were limited-edition cars.

Design-wise, the GTS stands out from the Superfast thanks to a pair of large buttresses behind the rear seats. These hold the folding hard-top under a tonneau cover when not in use. The roof is electronically operated and takes 14 seconds to fold or unfold at speeds of up to 28 mph. The GTS weighs 165 pounds more than the Superfast due to roof components and chassis reinforcing.

Mechanically, the GTS remains identical to the 812 Superfast. It features the same 6.5-liter V-12 engine that generates 789 horsepower and 530 pound-feet of torque. The 812 GTS hits 60 mph from a standing start in 2.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 211 mph.
