While waiting for the Ferrari SF90 Versione Speciale to arrive, Novitec is offering an update for the "standard" SF90 that will completely improve both the looks and the performance. The biggest update was made under the hood, but we can't say this is the most powerful SF90 upgrade: just a few weeks ago Mansory announced a kit that delivered the same 1,100 horsepower.

Novitec's Impressive Powertrain Upgrade

When Ferrari launched the SF90 it not only launched its first mid-engine, all-wheel-drive supercar, but also its first plug-in model ever. The SF90 is powered by a hybrid system that combines a 4.0-liter V-8 engine with three electric motors for a total output of 986 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque – numbers that make the SF90 even more powerful than the LaFerrari itself. The guys over at Novitec thought there was room for a lot more improvement, and they did a few updates under the hood. They modified the engine software and installed a new, high-performance exhaust system with metal catalysts. As a result, the V-8 engine delivers an extra 109 horsepower, and the combined output went up to an even more impressive 1,109 horsepower and 677 pound-feet of torque. The extra power helps lower the 0 to 62 mph sprint time from 2.5 to 2.4 seconds, from 0 to 124 mph from 6.7 seconds to 6.3 seconds. Novitec also claims top speed was increased to over 340 km/h (211 mph), but it does not offer an official number.

Minimal Exterior and Interior Enhancements

As for the exterior look, Novitec didn't find much to update, but it does offer new naked-carbon components that will not only make the supercar look even more spectacular but also generate even more aerodynamic downforce. Up front, the SF90 has a new spoiler with detachable side sections, the front hood now has a more racing look thanks to the addition of carbon trim components, and carbon front flaps on the left and right. As an option, you can also go for new carbon-fiber front fenders with air outlets above the tires that help improve the venting of the air in the wheel wells heated by the brakes. In the rear, there is a new roof spoiler, a carbon diffuser, and a large ducktail rear wing made of course from carbon fiber. Even the engine hood is updated with various carbon fiber elements.

The car rides on 21-inch forged rims with a five twin-spoke design and stylized center lock. They are wrapped in high-performance tires of sizes 255/30 ZR 21 and 325/25 ZR 21 as the optimal solution. The tuner is also offering sport springs that will lower the car's ride by 30 millimeters in the front and by 25 millimeters in the rear. They not only offer a more spectacular look but also lower the center of gravity and contribute to further optimized handling.

On the interior, the cockpit can be refined with leather and Alcantara in any desired color and upholstery design.
