The new-generation Volvo S60 is set to debut tomorrow, June 20, and the Swedish automaker released a teaser photo to get things hot for another 24 hours. The compact sedan will be unveiled in Charleston, South Carolina, where Volvo will open its first-ever U.S. manufacturing plant. The teaser shows an S60 hidden under a thin cover, but it doesn't reveal much.

The only detail we can spot are the taillights, which look very similar to the bigger S90 sedan. The lights are shaped like the letter "C" and have longer upper arms that extend into the trunk lid. The lower arms are shorter, but the resemblance to the S90 is there. We can also spot a short deck lid and a coupe-style roof, so expect a sporty looking four-door.

By far the most interesting thing in this teaser is the setup, with the car placed in a big showcase on top of a living room.

While the sedan is still hidden, its design isn't much of a mystery. We've already seen the V60 model, and the two will be identical from the nose to the C-pillars. Expect the four-door to have an identical interior and share the same lineup of four-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines, as well as a pair of hybrid drivetrains.

Stay tuned for an update as the brand-new Volvo S60 makes its official debut tomorrow.
