Cyberpunk 2077 is barely a week old, and it’s already crossing over to a different game. One of the game’s most exotic vehicles is jumping over to the world of Forza Horizon 4 as a playable car. The custom Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech is the latest in a long line of collaborations that Playground Games, the developers of FH4, have signed off on with other video game titles.

Forza Horizon 4 gamers will have to complete a challenge to gain access to the Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech, but the cost that comes with completing it should be worth it once you can get behind the wheel of the racy supercar. If you already have the Halo Warthog and the custom Regalia from Final Fantasy 15, the Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech car would make a nice addition to your collection.

What is the Quadra Turbo R V-Tech?

The Cyberpunk canon indicates that the Turbo R is powered turbocharged V-18 engine that ran on CHOOH2, a standard synthetic alcohol fuel that’s apparently popular in the mid-2050s. That, in a nutshell, is the Turbo R. The Quadra Turbo R V-Tech, on the other hand, is described as a diamond compared to a chunk of coal that is the Turbo R. Strong words, right?

There’s a lot more nuance in the design of the V-Tech variant, though it still retains a lot of the 1980s-inspired aesthetics. The wedge-shaped front end comes with small, slit-like headlights, a front spoiler, and bulging wheel arches. At the back, there’s no rear bumper to speak of so the exhausts and the air intakes are visible for all the world to see. The rear spoiler aids in aerodynamic enhancements while the taillight strips are also design hallmarks from the 1980s.

The Cyberpunk canon is like a rabbit hole that’s impossible to get out of. But it is fascinating to learn about the goings-on in Night City 50-something years from now, specifically the kind of cars roaming — and flying — around the city.

Still, the sports coupé was a monster when it hit the scene, powered mercilessly by a turbocharged V-10 engine that produced 607 horsepower. Performance numbers were not divulged, but the Cyberpunk universe also notes that the Quadra Turbo R V-Tech weighed just 1,450-something.

We don’t know if that’s kilos, pounds, or some new form of weight measurement that hasn’t been invented in today’s time, but if that figure is in kilos, it would weigh somewhere around 3,200 pounds, a believable number relative to real-world vehicles today. But if that figure refers to pounds, we’re looking at a supercar that would weigh the same as The Pilgrim, a light car that was produced in Detroit back in 1914. We’d like to believe that we’re dealing with kilos here, but then again, there are flying cars in Night City in 2077.

Are there differences between the Quadra Turbo R V-Tech that appears in Cyberpunk 2077 and the one that appears in Forza Horizon 4?

Normally, you’d think that we’re dealing with the same car here, but we’re not. Sure, a lot of the Quadra Turbo R V-Tech’s specs in Cyberpunk 2077 have been preserved in Forza Horizon 4 — that includes the 607-horsepower from the turbocharged V-10 engine — but the Forza Horizon 4 version is listed as weighing 2,756 pounds. It might not be that significant of a difference, but it’s a difference nonetheless.

How do I get the Quadra Turbo R V-Tech in Forza Horizon 4?

It’s actually simpler than you think. All you need to do is complete the head-to-head street scene race tagged as “_NIGHTCITY.EXE_” It’s a point-to-point event in Edinburgh against LaRacer, who, not surprisingly, will be driving the Quadra Turbo R V-Tech. Beat it to the finish line with your own S1 class car, and you get to go home with both rides.
