The new Opel Zafira – available to order now – features an even more attractive look and technology range at no extra cost. The new 85 kW/115 hp 1.6 ECOTEC entry-level model in Opel’s fully variable compact monocab range costs 21,210 euros, for example – exactly the same recommended retail price as the previous 1.6-liter version with 10 hp less.

The new engine also boasts greater output, optimized driving dynamics, lower fuel and CO2 emissions, as well as optimized elasticity and smoothness. The two new 1.7 CDTI diesel units with 81 kW/110 hp and 92 kW/125 hp, which replace the 1.9-liter engines in the range, also boast enhanced performance data. Prices for the Zafiras with advanced common-rail turbo-diesel technology start from 23,720 euros.

As well as an improved engine range, the new Zafira’s look has also been enhanced by additional sporty design accents throughout and an improved interior. The new version of the bestselling compact monocab of course comes ex-works with the trademark variable Flex7 seating system on board. This innovation transforms the car’s interior from a seven all the way to a two-seat configuration with 1820 liters of load volume in seconds, without cumbersome removal of the seats.
