Bad news for bow tie fans, because General Motors has found a problem with America's favorite sports car and are planning to recall over 22000 Corvette->ke1280s due to a separation issue with the removable roof panel and the rest of the car. Apparently certain Chevrolet Corvette Z06s made in 2005 and 2006 equipped with a targa top as well as other Vettes built from 2005 to 2007. However there is no need to worry, because if you have noticed a new noise when going over bumps, a leaky headliner or just plain old poor fitment on your C6 then head down to your local Chevy dealer where they will install a newly designed roof panel free of charge if yours just so happens to be a defective unit. There is no immediate danger in driving a Vette with an off top, but GM just wants to make sure that you don't due any unnecessary damage to anybody else.
