Even if Pagani didn't finished the Zonda R in time for the Geneva Motor Show, that doesn't mean the Italian supercars-maker doesn't have ambitious plans for the future: a new supercar was announced to be launched next year. The future model, internally knows as the C9 will be powered by a V8 engine and will replace the current Zonda.

According to Pagani the production of the current Zonda supercar will be closed in less than a year because the 7.3 liters V12 AMG engine will no longer be available.

The future C9 will be unveiled next year at the Geneva Motor Show and will be sold on new markets including Japan and USA. In the same time with the launch of the new model, Pagani will also launch a new plant which will have a capacity of 60 units a year.

But until next year, the limited edition Zonda R is expected to be unveiled. This will be powered by a V12 engine that will deliver 750 hp. It will be limited to only 10 units.
