An Autoweek.nl reader caught the future Pagani C9->ke3170, the replacement for the current Zonda->ke942, on a German street. This time the future supercar revealed its Mercedes SLS AMG-inspired gullwing doors which will replace Zonda's conventional doors. The C9 was being followed by a Mercedes full of test equipment. The official debut will be made in September at the Paris Motor Show with sales beginning in 2011. The supercar will be priced in the $1,250,000 area.

The next C9, described by Pagani CEO as "a completely new car from concept, weight distribution, materials and dynamics" will be powered by a 6.0-liter V12 engine with two turbochargers that will deliver around 700 hp and 1000 NM of torque. This will sprint the car from from 0 to 62mph in less than three seconds and on to a top speed of more than 220mph.

The supercar will come with 3770 new parts, a carbon-titanium chassis, specially developed Pirelli tires, and Bosch electronics.
