If our memories serve us correctly - and why wouldn't it - we're pretty sure that this is the same Pagani C9 supercar that we dug up spy photos on a few weeks ago.

So you can imagine our shock when we found out that the very same car crashed at around 10am this morning while testing on the Autobahn B14, which just so happens to be near the Mercedes-Benz->ke187 factory in Stuttgart, Germany.

There are no specific details on what happened to the mule C9 except that the driver somehow lost control of the super car in the middle of testing. So if anybody knows something, don't hesitate to drop by and share with us!

Reminder: The Pagani C9 is expected to come with a smaller engine than that of its predecessor. The 7.3-liter AMG V12 engine of the Zonda->ke942 won’t be found in the C9, but what you can expect is a still impressive 6.0-liter V12 twin-turbo engine. The C9's modest engine, which supposedly will be a lot lighter than the engine from the Zonda, will mean that the total power output of the little brother – somewhere in the neighborhood of 700 horsepower – will exceed that of the big brother.
