The Pagani Zonda may no longer be in production, but to this day, it’s still regarded as one of the fiercest modern-day exotics in the world. Throughout its life, the Zonda received numerous special edition iterations, including the 760LM Roadster, a bare, carbon-fiber bodied, one-off exclusive that Pagani built to pay homage to Le Mans. Yes, that’s what the LM in “760LM” stands for.

In any event, the owner of this incredibly rare Zonda recently took the supercar out on the track to show its mettle. Since it runs on a 7.3-liter V-12 engine, expectations are that the Zonda 760LM Roadster is bonafide track monster. As the video clearly captures, it’s certainly that…and a whole lot more.

In between the blistering lap runs and the incredible cackling of that massive V-12, the Zonda 760LM Roadster is shown in full bloom. A lime green Lamborghini Gallardo even accompanied the car on the track and it might as well have been invincible. That’s the kind of presence the one-off Zonda commanded in its run on the track. Heck, even a sudden downpour couldn’t stop the car, or at least its driver, from running roughshod over the track. That’s dedication to the highest extent possible. The video is close to four minutes long, but it’s still worth watching in its entirety.

As a refresher, the Zonda 760LM Roadster has an output of 760 horsepower, enough to justify its one-off billing.

Kirby’s first exposure into the world of automobiles happened when he caught Knight Rider on television as a five-year old boy. David Hasselhoff didn’t leave much of an impression on him (that happened later on in Baywatch), but KITT certainly did. To this day, Kirby remains convinced that he will one day own a car with the same ‘spirit’ as the original KITT (not the 2008 monstrosity). He doesn't know when that will be, but until then, he’s committed to expressing his love for KITT, and all cars for that matter, here at TopSpeed.  Read More
