Okay, there are some concepts that people see and immediately want the company to put into production. Italian designer Paolo De Giusti’s Egochine B concept is definitely not one of them. Not that the concept isn’t cool and unique, but give us a break; the car looks like a Mach 3 razor on steroids.

Giusti was going for "Retro-futurism" with this concept meaning he wanted to bring back the old fashioned style with futuristic characteristics. He put in a big engine, elegant sweeping sides, and a fat, curving nose to make it reminiscent of the vehicles of yore. Yeah, okay, whatever. The car is powered by hydrogen cells that push the power to the electric motors which translates into a powerful machine. Of course, it can only carry one person.

Apparently this concept is one of the finalists in a Peugeot design contest. We hope that the other finalists err towards the side of practicality a little more than this guy. Don’t get us wrong; we think it’s a really cool design. We just don’t think it is very attractive or functional, but the contest is about design so we really shouldn’t be so hard on the guy.

I really loved the way it was conceptualized. I hope there’ll be more of this on the next show.

This design should be put into workshops and make a car out of it. How do you change blades with the razor?

if this would be the future car, I would rather walk than riding this..

Yeah, no doubt the design is quite impressive but what’s the use of putting big engine on this car if the capacity is for only one person. The concept is nice but I think except for the fabulous design they should made it more useful.

Interesting design. Would be intersting to see if we even head in that direction for designs of vehicles. However, looking at a girl and saying "Wanna go for a ride in Schick Quattro?" isn’t gonna get you anywhere.

Hi

I consider these like a Syle exercise but absolutly far from a Industrial Design Concept. A lot of blogs use Ctrl+c / Ctrl+v really too much and bad, and this cause a lot of distortions . This is a 4 wheels car, rear there are 2 Wheel side by side, and It isn’t a "green car" if you know Hydrogen technology you can understand that is not the solution for environment respect.
There are 4 electric Motor, only to bring this Machine to top speed, steering or braking at top speed probably causes the destruction of car ; )
It’s a concept without good sense, and the inspiration of ancient vehicle is visible most in this Use features that in Style. Ancient cars, are useless, dangerous, smelly and was only a luxury for a few self-centered.
