The Full Story
Pininfarina previously teased the PF0 as a combination of high-end luxury, superlative performance, and cutting edge EV tech.
Pininfarina has been around for a long time - since 1930 in fact, and over the years its created a variety of amazing exterior designs for the likes of Ferrari, Maserati, and Alfa Romeo, among others. However, as recently as April of this year, the firm announced it was rebranding itself as a full-fledged standalone automaker, and the PF0 will be its first offering in that regard.
So far, hype has been building for the release of the new sports machine, with Pininfarina previously teasing the PF0 back in July as a combination of high-end luxury, superlative performance, and cutting edge EV tech.
With these latest teaser shots, we now get a look at the interior thanks to a slew of stylized, painting-style images. Overall, the interior appears elegant, with loads of stitched upholstery on the dash and doors. Digital screen readouts provide info for the driver, and there’s a push-button starter located lower on the dash. The steering wheel gets a geometric shape with a carbon rim and additional stitching on the hand bolsters, while a large center console runs down the car’s spine.

Pininfarina also included several exterior shots with the interiors, which come heavy on the shadow, but still show the car’s voluptuous lines, including the curvaceous fender lines and rounded cockpit.
The body panels will be made from carbon fiber, and draw inspiration from Pininfarina’s past creations, including the Cisitalia, Sintesi, and Modulo. No doubt, the PF0 will be quite the looker.
“Our objective with the exterior of PF0 is to design timeless beauty in every aspect, and the interior is equally important,” said Pininfarina’s Design Director, Luca Borgogno.
All told, it makes sense to bring the PF0 to Pebble Beach, considering the attendees expected to show.

“Numerous design icons from Pininfarina’s incredible history have won awards at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, so I am excited to present a future Pininfarina classic to prospective owners in close proximity to this famous event,” said Automobili Pininfarina CEO Michael Perschke.
In addition, the PF0 will also get tons of high-tech features under the skin, especially with regards to performance and speed.
In terms of acceleration, the car is expected to hit 62 mph in less than 2 seconds, while top speed will clock in at over 250 mph. Making that a possibility will be four electric motors, one per corner, all of which will produce 2,000 horsepower total. Range per charge will exceed 300 miles.
Each example will be built by hand in Cambiano, Italy. Production will be limited to just 150 units total. Pricing is rumored to slot in at $2.5 million a piece.
