As if we haven’t had enough hype and publicity for Cars 2, Pixar apparently isn’t done with promoting the second installment of their hit movie franchise. We’ve already seen a number of trailers and sneak peeks of the movie, as well as introductions to some of the movie’s new characters. Now, we have posters. Lots of ‘em.

The retro-looking posters promote not just the movie, but in their own high-octane world, the international competition called the World Grand Prix.

It’s a movie that’s sure to grab the attention of both kids and adults, alike and will also provide auto enthusiasts like us the perfect opportunity to relive our childhoods, especially the ones that involved cartoon cars engaged in some good old fashion racing amidst a backdrop of international espionage.

The movie is set to be released on June 24,2011, a little over two months from now. But seeing as Disney and Pixar are seemingly going through great lengths in hyping and promoting this movie, the palpable anticipation and buzz surrounding Cars 2 is slowly building up and for a lot of us, June 24 can’t come soon enough.

Kirby’s first exposure into the world of automobiles happened when he caught Knight Rider on television as a five-year old boy. David Hasselhoff didn’t leave much of an impression on him (that happened later on in Baywatch), but KITT certainly did. To this day, Kirby remains convinced that he will one day own a car with the same ‘spirit’ as the original KITT (not the 2008 monstrosity). He doesn't know when that will be, but until then, he’s committed to expressing his love for KITT, and all cars for that matter, here at TopSpeed.  Read More

I can’t wait for the official release of this film next month! I’ve been checking all trailers, posters and trivias. This is something to look forward to. I love to watch car movies, and of course, animation cars is really an eye-catching flick to watch with our family.

Well, what can I say, I am really waiting eagerly for this movie. Good thing that they are making good on their promise to make this one even better than the first one.

One thing that I have noticed about these posters is that they kinda look like the old animated films done by Disney. I must admit that I am missing those a lot.

Yay! They’re starting to roll out the merchandise for this one. Soon enough, my little brother would be nagging me to get him those Cars figures again.

I am not into movie posters, but I really love the art on these, they look very cool. It would be a good idea to have these for my desktop wallpapers.

I think you can get good resolution copies of these right off the net. But if you want really good quality posters, these will be available once the movie opens.

Hey, are they giving these posters out? One of this would be a good display in my nephew’s room, he has been a Cars fan ever since he saw the first movie.
