Just like the whole world, we were shocked and dismayed to hear about the tragic air plane crash that took the life of Polish President Lech Kaczynski and 95 other people last April 10.

Yesterday, Poland bid farewell to the president after over 100,000 people flocked the streets to pay their last respects to their leader and befitting a man of his stature, we were at the very least glad to see that the Polish government spared no expense in giving the president a grand state funeral, which included the use of aMaserati Quattroporte hearse to bring his remains to its final resting place.

We’ve never been to Poland, but we do extend our deepest sympathies to the Polish people for this unspeakable tragedy.

Kirby’s first exposure into the world of automobiles happened when he caught Knight Rider on television as a five-year old boy. David Hasselhoff didn’t leave much of an impression on him (that happened later on in Baywatch), but KITT certainly did. To this day, Kirby remains convinced that he will one day own a car with the same ‘spirit’ as the original KITT (not the 2008 monstrosity). He doesn't know when that will be, but until then, he’s committed to expressing his love for KITT, and all cars for that matter, here at TopSpeed.  Read More

To die in an incident would be my greatest fear. I prefer to die in old age.

The Maserati Quattroporte is relatively unique in the market for now, but with the Aston Martin Rapide and Porsche Panamera soon hitting the roads, that will change.
