Porsche 911 gets a refresh for summer 2008
The Porsche 911 will receive a facelift in the summer of 2008: larger air intake for the front end and redesigned rear lighting.
The six-cylinder gasoline engine will be converted to direct injection and also the 911 will feature an optional dual-clutch transmission. Porsche’s direct-injection engine, dubbed DFI, is projected to cut fuel consumption by about 10 percent.
The updated Carrera S coupe will have at least 370 hp, up from 355 hp.
