Porsche announce New Driving School Program

Porsche Driving School announced new courses including one designed for the woman who enjoys driving and wants to experience the essence of Porsche automobiles as well as enhance her current driving skills.

Precision - (One-Day High Performance Driving Course): $1,795

The One-Day program begins with a brief classroom session discussing basic vehicle dynamics and the driving line. Participants then begin a series of rotations through the Skid Pad, Performance Driving Techniques, Autocross and track driving sessions. After lunch, participants get another turn on the autocross track during the Michelin Autocross Challenge, experience the Cayenne and spend the rest of their day lapping the race circuit.

Performance - (Two-Day High Performance Driving Course): $2,995

Designed for those who enjoy driving and want to experience the essence of Porsche automobiles. The Two-Day program begins with a brief classroom session discussing vehicle dynamics and the driving line. Participants are then transferred to the track and begin a series of rotations through the Skid Pad, Performance Driving Techniques, Autocross and track sessions. The first afternoon is spent learning the proper driving line, mastering some of the many technical corners of the track and sharpening basic skills during a timed Autocross and Cornering Drill. The morning of day two is dedicated to heel and toe downshifting, competing in the Michelin Autocross Challenge and track sessions. Skills are continually refined with track sessions in the afternoon and the Cayenne off-road course.

Masters - (Two-Day Advanced Driving Course): $3,495

This advanced course is offered to former graduates of the Two-Day Porsche Sport Driving School at Barber Motor Sports Park. The Masters course is designed to take previous participants, who have gained basic skills and knowledge, to the next level of performance. We begin by polishing car control skills through practice on the Skid Pad and Basic Training Course where they will receive in-depth instruction on cornering technique and sessions orienting drivers to the track. Since honing driving skills is all about track time, the key objective of day-two is to maximize track time during the open track sessions. The full day is spent in lapping sessions with a short break for each group to rise to the Michelin Autocross Challenge.

Corporate Events 2-100 Participants per day

Our group programs present companies with an exciting approach to entertaining customers or rewarding employees. Offered in a one-day or two-day format, programs can be tailored to accommodate your needs. From Cayenne to Carrera, you guest will drive an array of Porsche products. Set up for maximum fun and learning, we put the cars through their paces, showing off what each does best. Zipping around the autocross course in Boxster, participants are schooled in precision and control. The tempo picks up on the track with lapping sessions behind the wheel of a Carrera, where speed increases as skills improve.
