For the Porsche->ke1 enthusiast who has everything – possibly including a 918 Spyder parked in his driveway – Porsche has created the ultimate expression of passion for the brand, which, surprisingly, is not a limited-edition 911. It’s called the P’3135 Solid Gold Limited Edition, and it is a fountain pen created from a single piece of solid 14-carat gold with an 18-carat gold nib.

Only 11 of these pens will ever be produced, with sales available at select Porsche Design stores starting next month, but here’s the kicker: bring your wallet. Priced at around $27,000 (or €25,000), this pen will cost almost as much as a used 2007 Boxster, and it isn’t nearly as fun on track days. Fortunately, if you don’t have that much money to spend on a writing utensil, Porsche Design will gladly sell you its standard Solid Fountain Pen constructed of titanium with the same 18-carat gold tip, and it will only set you back $1,090.
