Porsche->ke1 collectors, take notice!

To celebrate their 60th year in America, Porsche is looking for the oldest Porsche vehicle sold in the US, and if you just happen to have a classic sitting in your garage, then you have a chance of entering your car in this nationwide search. There's only one catch; you need to be able to officially verify the retail age of your Porsche.

If you can satisfy this simple requirement, then you can enter your Porsche in any of the following categories: 356->ke666, 911->ke282, 912->ke3567, 914->ke3319, 924->ke929, 928->ke928, 944->ke927, 968->ke739, Boxster->ke570, Cayenne->ke212, Carrera GT->ke2124, and Cayman->ke5. And in the event that your car happens to be the oldest in any of these models, then you’ll receive a special treat from Porsche in the form of being prominently featured in the company website, as well as receiving a special badge from no less than the Porsche Museum.

That’s not all, either. According to Porsche, the oldest American-retailed vehicle from each of the 12 models will also be included in the American exhibit at the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, Germany and one car may also get the ultimate invitation to be prominently featured at Porsche’s exhibit at the LA Auto Show.

There’s a saying that there are many perks in being the first at something. Apparently, that now holds true for owning the first US-retailed Porsche in the country.
