Porsche Luxury Home and Office Collection
For all of you real Porsche fans out there, the German sports car builder announced the launch of its new Luxury Home and Office Collection. It contains items inspired by the Porsche models and made from the same high-tech materials used in the real cars.
The first item is an office chair made from a 911 Carrera sport seat. It is upholstered with the same premium black leather found in the sports coupe, and features an electronic backrest adjustment and an embossed Porsche emblem in the headrest.
Next, there is a wall shelf constructed from the rear spoiler of a 911 GT3 Cup Race car. It is made from real carbon-fiber material, and can support up to 264 pounds.
Our favorite item, however, is a 1:8 scale version of the recently launched Porsche 918 Spyder. Just like the production version, it is limited to only 918 units.

The production version 918 Spyder made its world debut a few days ago at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show and it is on sale at a price of $845,000, or $929,000 if you add the Weissach Package.
The 918 Spyder is powered by a hybrid system that combines a 4.6-liter V-8 engine with two electric motors. The V-8 engine delivers a total of 608 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 391 pound-feet of torque, while the electric motors add 154 horsepower (rear) and 127-horsepower (front).
With a combined output of 887 horsepower, the 918 Spyder can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds and up to a top speed of 211 mph. The supercar already broke the world record around Nurburgring with a lap time of 6:57.
