It’s hard to think about Paul Walker and not wax nostalgic about the life that was snuffed out so quickly and suddenly. Even though he tragically lost his life in 2013, Walker’s legacy continues to live on, and soon we'll get to watch his life on the screen courtesy of a new documentary, titled I Am Paul Walker.

The documentary is being jointly produced by Paramount and Network Entertainment as part of the latter’s “I Am” documentary series. "We are thrilled to continue our collaboration with Paramount Network on the I Am series," said Executive Producer, Paul Gertz, who also happens to be Network Entertainment's President and COO. "We are proud to lead off our recently announced new four-picture slate with Paramount Network with this engaging documentary about the life and legacy of the very talented Paul Walker."

The documentary is still in production, but a synopsis of its content reveals a lot of interviews with Walker’s family, friends, and cast-mates. It’ll also highlight his film career, his love for marine life, his philanthropic efforts, and his time as one of the cornerstones of the Fast and Furious franchise.

Personally, we’d also like to see Walker’s obsession with cars get featured in the documentary. It may be a touchy subject because of the circumstances surrounding his death, but it’s something us car enthusiasts would still like to see. For this who don’t know, Walker owned a collection of cars that could fill the hearts of every car collector in the world. He had a 2011 Porsche GT3 RS, a 2008 BMW M3, and three 1995 BMW M3s, among others. There’s a lot of material in Walker’s life that can be used in the documentary, and I think I speak for every fan of his when I say that this is one documentary that I’m excited to see.

Our hopes are high because Network Entertainment is involved in it. This is, after all, the same company that produced documentaries of some of the biggest icons in the world, including Muhammad Ali, Heath Ledger, Bruce Lee, and JFK Jr. The studio’s newest documentary, I am MLK Jr.}, will debut on April 2 on Paramount Network.
