Prince Charles may not be the premier authority regarding anything involving cars, but the heir to the British monarchy knows enough to plan a car show for environmentally friendly vehicles.

That being said, the Prince of Wales is working on hosting the Start festival, which will go on from September 5th to 15th at The Mall in London, England. The 11-day event will celebrate “sustainable lifestyles” by featuring a plethora of environmentally friendly vehicles, as well as anything and everything that’s connected to a sustainable lifestyle. And yes, that includes buildings, food, and even gardening tools.

We’re not yet privy to any information on what kind of “efficient” cars will make an appearance at the event, although we did find out that there will be some kind of race between Prince Charles’ recycled chip fat-powered train – who knew something like that existed - against a host of other green cars. The race will commence from Glasgow, Scotland all the way to London, England as part of the festivities.

The Start festival will come with a £15 entrance fee, but the car display on September 12 at The Mall will be free for all to enjoy.
