Any parent with a young teenage kid that has any remote interest in cars will need to hop online and scoop up a copy of “Race”, an independent computer animated sci-fi action film that’s catered towards an audience in the PG-13 demographic – OK, so it’s not for the little tykes because the movie’s got little doses of suggestive images and action violence.

Taking the plot of good versus evil and integrating a lot of car racing into it, “Race” features protagonists – and drivers – Trance Caldron and Team Earth duking it out with nemesis Team Tagmatian where the fate of the entire universe is hanging on the balance on who can stake claim to the prestigious Star Car Championship. Like what the movie says, “in a race between good and evil...winning is everything.”

"Race" is available online at a standard retail price of $32.99

The whole project is the brainchild of Hyper Image, a post production and animation studio in Glendale, California. As their very first feature, the company is banking on a strong reception for “Race”, which they should easily attain for its highly-entertaining plot and, of course, all those mach cars trying to take each other out.
