There’s another rare sports car for sale that should interest you car-loving nuts. You need to open up your wallets though, because this car doesn’t come cheap. Nope. Not by a longshot.

For €1.33 million - $1.851 million - you can own a piece of Porsche history with this Porsche 911 996 GT1, a car that comes with specs awesome enough for the GT1 Class of the Le Mans 24 Hours, yet sold as a production car. And yes, it’s as rare as a bald eagle too; Porsche only built 25 of these bad boys.

Rightfully so too, considering that the car is powered by a 3.2-liter flat six engine that produces around 700 horsepower with a 0-60mph time of 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 235 mph. And you know what else? The car has never been driven.

We’re guessing that’s why the car’s being sold at that price.

A little under $2 million, folks. $2 million.

Kirby’s first exposure into the world of automobiles happened when he caught Knight Rider on television as a five-year old boy. David Hasselhoff didn’t leave much of an impression on him (that happened later on in Baywatch), but KITT certainly did. To this day, Kirby remains convinced that he will one day own a car with the same ‘spirit’ as the original KITT (not the 2008 monstrosity). He doesn't know when that will be, but until then, he’s committed to expressing his love for KITT, and all cars for that matter, here at TopSpeed.  Read More

Not good. Never driving a car is bad for it. I would rather purchase a GT1 with 1000 miles as it will be in better shape. This one might not even start.
