As most of you know, the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is the more luxurious and powerful version of the standard S-Class. However, for half the price of the Rolls-Royce Ghost, you will have access to a similar level of comfort, features, and better cabin tech. But that is in the real world, where Mercedes-Benz cars are made better by the AMG and the Maybach divisions for those who want more customization. Meet the Maybach-AMG S900, a digital representation of a joint venture of both divisions. These renderings by Emre Husmen give us hope that maybe someday we will witness this collaboration on the much-loved S-Class.

The S-Class was fully redesigned for 2021, as it entered the W223 generation with sharp exterior looks, a more tech-heavy cabin, and even more power than its previous generation. In addition, the Maybach version of the S-Class stretches the limit even further, with an elongated wheelbase, length, and width, all in the name of better cabin space. Similarly, the artist developed these widebody renderings of the Mercedes-AMG S900, heavily based on the Z223 long-wheelbase version.

The front fascia looks like a proper AMG model, with the huge Panamericana grille and a gigantic Maybach badge in the center. The side vents are the biggest we have witnessed on a Mercedes, and given that the S900 is imagined to be an AMG model, that is reasonably expected. In addition, there is a pair of hood scoops, and the creases surrounding them add to the design aesthetics of an actual AMG car.

From the sides, the S900 seems to have more aerodynamic parts than any of the AMG cars in reality. The hot air outlets for the front wheels are more prominent than anticipated, and the streamlined side skirts that grow into air inlets for the rear wheels look cool, too. Not to forget the wider wheel arches, which are broadened to accommodate the thicker Michelin tires. The wheels are a massive 24 inches in size and are inspired by production-spec 20-inch Maybach wheels.

Apart from the taillights, the whole rear bumper is redesigned, and guess what? We bet you have never seen a Maybach build like this Maybach-AMG S900. Sleek exhaust covers flank the massive diffuser, and the overall rear fascia design is catered toward better airflow. Apart from all the exterior color schemes, including Steel Gray/Black, Red, Black, and Sky Blue/Black, we loved the fully blacked-out S900.

These renderings show how capable a Maybach-AMG model from the future could look. It is a rare possibility, though, so don't hold your breath in hopes of seeing one anytime soon.
