The new Land Rover Defender might be the talk of the town today, but people still have the love for the brand’s older models, especially Range Rovers. In fact, that love is so strong that it led to this minute restoration.

Mind you, the video is old by internet standards, having been posted in August 2019. However, it racked up over seven million views since, and it’s all due to the sheer dedication that drove its transformation from a junkyard-condemned car to perfectly working condition.

Just to make an idea of how every detail was taken into consideration, the guy who accepted the challenge of saving the Range Rover says he welded some parts then cut them and welded them again once he gained more experience, as the first attempt did not satisfy him in terms of quality.

What is even more amazing has to do with how the DIY project was funded. As in, only from Patreon donations. So, yeah, it looks like determination and passion are contagious, or at least appreciated in the car-loving community.

Soup Classic Motoring, whoever you are, well done. You have earned our standing ovation.
