Rolls Royce->ke74 is known for its luxurious vehicles and high price tags, but those two features go hand in hand and no one would ever dare to question that. One of the reasons customers are gung-ho about spending a boatload of money on a Rolls Royce is because of their luxury, and their customizable designs. Rolls Royce knows all of this, of course, which is why they will be bringing five bespoke models to the Paris Motor Show starting in about a week. The models set to take the stage with their bespoke designs are: a Phantom->ke1283 Extended Wheelbase in Gunmetal metallic with a Sunrise leather interior; a Carrara White metallic Phantom Drophead Coupe with Hotspur Red leather interior; a Phantom Coupe; and two Ghosts. Hey, nothing says purely customizable like showing up with absolute proof of that.

The Phantom Extended Wheelbase shown in the photo above comes with seat piping, mother of pearl centers to white instrument dials, control dials and clock face, Rolls-Royce monogram embroidery in all head restraints, and personalized tread plates inscribed with Mondial de l’Automobile Paris 2010.

"Ghost is a more approachable Rolls-Royce that is bringing an entirely new type of customer to the Rolls-Royce brand,” said CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös. “But in Paris we are also demonstrating how we continue to strengthen our position as the pinnacle luxury brand thanks to the enduring appeal of Phantom family and the depth of our bespoke personalization service."

Bespoke design will take centre stage for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars at Paris this year, as five models featuring the company’s extensive personalisation programme take to the stand.  The collection includes a sumptuous Phantom Extended Wheelbase in Gunmetal metallic with Sunrise leather interior and a Carrara White metallic Phantom Drophead Coupé with Hotspur Red leather interior.  A Phantom Coupé and two Ghosts complete the presentation.

“Ghost is a more approachable Rolls-Royce that is bringing an entirely new type of customer to the Rolls-Royce brand,” said CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös. “But in Paris we are also demonstrating how we continue to strengthen our position as the pinnacle luxury brand thanks to the enduring appeal of Phantom family and the depth of our bespoke personalisation service.”

As well as a unique exterior colour and sunrise leather interior, the Phantom Extended Wheelbase features a selection of classic bespoke interior design elements.  This includes seat piping, mother of pearl centres to white instrument dials, control dials and clock face, Rolls-Royce monogram embroidery in all head restraints and personalised tread plates inscribed with Mondial de l’Automobile Paris 2010.

In a continuation of the bespoke theme, Paris will also play host to Rolls-Royce Motor Cars exclusive four-person picnic set.  This bespoke commission was designed in-house and developed on site by craftsmen and women at the Rolls-Royce plant in Goodwood, England.

Further images and details of the Phantom Coupé, Phantom Drophead Coupé and Ghosts will be released to on press day, 30 September 2010.
