Under development since 2015 or so, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, the company’s first-ever SUV, will be unveiled on May 10. Rolls-Royce’s announcement didn’t include information about the SUV, but we already know quite a few things from spy shots of test vehicles and leaked data. Design-wise, it’s pretty obvious that it will be a Phantom station wagon on stilts. The hauler will borrow many styling cues from the company’s latest limousine, including the prominent grille, the rectangular headlamps, and the vertical taillights. It will also have a tall beltline and rear-hinged rear doors.

The cabin will be one of the most luxurious on the market, and it will compete with the Bentayga in terms of features, technology, and appointments. On top of the digital instrument cluster and the iDrive-based controller, it will also get premium leather upholstery and genuine wood trim. Power will be provided by the twin-turbo, 6.75-liter V-12 from the Phantom, with more than 550 horsepower sent to the wheels through an automatic transmission. Expect it to cost in excess of £200,000.

Stay tuned for more information and a full review of the SUV on May 10.
