S.-based Tuner Unveils The Ford Bronco Midnite Edition
This Bronco Midnite Edition is a tribute to the original Nite Edition Bronco built in 1991 and 1992by Sidd Dhimaan, on LISTEN 02:09
If there is anyone more excited about the new Bronco other than the enthusiasts, it’s the aftermarket companies. From offering a V-8 engine under the hood to creating a Baja-1000 winner-based Bronco, we’ve seen it all since the off-roader was reincarnated. But this is no way the end of it. Illinois-based Maxlider Brothers Customs has created a Midnite edition that pays homage to the 1991-92 Nite Bronco. How’s that for a double dose of nostalgia?
That’s A Sweet-Looking Bronco There
The tuner posted an image of the Bronco Midnite Edition on its Facebook page. Not a lot of information is available yet, but the company mentioned that the Midnite Edition will be offered on the two-door as well as the four-door Bronco. It will, however, be equipped with BDS Suspensions and FOX lift kits.
In the image, you can see it with a new grille, mud-terrain tires, and auxiliary lights amongst other things.
What Is The ‘Nite’ Edition?
Speaking of the original Nite package, Ford had introduced it on the 1991 and 1992 Bronco and F-150. It was an appearance package wherein the vehicles were painted in black along with multi-color ‘Nite’ decals on the side profile and the tailgate.
The Bronco also had a Nite logo on the tailgate-mounted spare tire cover. On the inside, you can choose from three different color themes - dark charcoal, scarlet red or crystal blue – along with ”exclusive” features like ’Nite’ nomenclature on the instrument panel, a sliding rear window, and special ’Nite’ floor mats.
Maxlider has not announced the price of the package, but you can reserve yours by placing a deposit of $500. Since Maxlider is an authorized drop-ship location for Ford, you can also buy the Bronco from your Ford dealership and have them delivered it to Maxlider directly for the customization.
