We’ve already seen various Teslas beat the many of the internal-combustion engine supercars with utmost ease. So, it’s not wrong to say that these silent machines are explosive beasts on a drag strip. But, how do they perform when pitted against each other? Throttle House brought the S3XY range – Model S, Model 3, Model X, and Model Y together on a drag strip to see where each model stands within the family. Let the games begin!

How Are The Models Spec’d?

Speaking of the specs, the Model 3 Performance comes with a two-motor setup – one on each axle – to power all the wheels. It makes around 580 horses and 481 pound-feet of twist that help it gallop to 60 mph from a standstill in just 3.2 seconds and go all the way up to 145 mph. The Model Y Performance also comes with a dual motor setup that generates 456 horses and 497 pound-feet of torque. It takes 3.5 seconds to sprint to 60 mph and tops out at 155 mph.

The Model X Performance churns out the best power figures – 778 horses and 841 pound-feet of torque combined from both its motors. It takes 2.6 seconds to hit the 60 mph mark and goes all the way up to 163 mph before hitting its top speed. Model S Performance is powered by two motors. It produces 762 horses and 723 pound-feet of torque. The 0-60 mph sprint takes 2.3 seconds and the top speed is rated at 163 mph.

Although all these Teslas here are in their newest Performance trims, only the Model X and the Model S come with the Ludacrious+ launch control. Both these models are engaged in the launch mode and then the Cheetah mode is activated.
