If you think you’ve seen the strangest of strangest sports cars, then we’d be happy to tell you to think again! At the Geneva Motor Show, Sbarro unveiled the Autobau concept. And yes, by all accounts, it is truly one-of-a-kind!

Resembling more like a giant stun gun than a legitimate sports car, the Sbarro Autobau is powered by a 12-cylinder engine from Ferrari that delivers a total of 500 hp and weights 1500 kilos. The concept was designed in honor of Fredy Lienhard, the Swiss race car driver that won the 24 Hours of Zolder in 1997 and 24 Hours of Daytona in 2002.

So, what do you think? Give us your thoughts on the Autobau and tell us if this piece of work would be an eye-catcher or a sight for sore eyes out on the streets.

anthonyevers37, I agree with you. With it’s shape and looks a hair clipper reflects.

It definitely is strange and I’m pretty sure that questions will definitely rise when this car is seen in the streets. Some of them might be:
the owner is that rich to get someone create such a weird car?
Is it aerodynamic?
How fast can it actually go?
Is it a failed Batmobile?

That is true it is a strange looking car. It doesn’t look good and it scares me a bit. There’s no way I would drive a car like that.

well i agree very rare looking but it has a power pack of 500HP quite good enough for a Clipper look a like sports car.

It reminds me of the Italdesign-bodied Alfa Romeo Schigerra concept of the late ’90s.
