The 2010 Autosport International Show saw the introduction of a new lightweight British sports car created by SDR Sports Cars. Despite the similar outward appearance, the WR3 V-Storm is less like the Ariel Atom->ke564 and more like a McLaren F1->ke1159 with its formula style center seat driving position for the pilot with room for two just behind them. According to SDR managing director Simon Dickens, he "wanted to develop something new and exciting that gets the pulse racing and offers the thrills of a Seven, but with dramatic modern styling and the capability of carrying three people."

Just like the four door GT car is becoming a staple of the high end performance market, the WR3 V-Storm takes the high performance kit car segment and sands it on its head by offering incredible performance thanks to its four cylinder boxer engine from the Japanese automaker Subaru pumping out over 300 HP with the ability to carry up to three passengers. Meanwhile the sub 1500 pound curb weight allows the tube frame track day special to rocket from 0 to 60 MPH in under four seconds.
