Seat Tango Concept might go into production
Seat Tango concept has been presented in 2002, at Frankfurt Motor Show. Now, Seat is considering puting this car into production if commerciably viable.
The Tango roadster will to use a version of the next-generation Ibiza platform. With front-wheel-drive and a basis in a supermini, the Tango would have similarities with Ford’s StreetKa cabrio.
Chief designer Luc Donkervolke has said that he wants Seat to become a "design-driven brand". A production version of the Tango would certainly help achieve that aim.
Seat is also considering an “assessing Toledo” with plans to replace the low-volume family car with a pseudo-4x4, similar to the new Nissan Qashqai.
