The Chevrolet Corvette C8 is one of the most talked-about cars in recent times. The hype still continues, despite the car being on sale for some time now. The Corvette has always been a stylish car, and although it’s mostly praised for its performance capabilities, it can also double as a cruiser, especially with the Targa roof. With this in mind, the C8 Corvette is definitely a car to have if you find yourself in the City of Miami, and the YouTube channel SchwaaFilms, which specializes in epic automotive content, has come up with an interesting way to demonstrate this.

Let’s go back to 2002 when some of us weren’t of driving age. It was the year game developer Rockstar gave us GTA Vice City. Although many of us born in the late 1980s and 1990s have enjoyed driving (smashing) through the virtual Miami-inspired world of Vice City while gunning down unsuspecting NPCs in a drive-by and causing millions worth of property damage, the focus here is on the presentation.

We start with the intro, which is done in the style of Vice City, showing us various aspects of Miami/Vice City glamour, including lots of people in bathing suits, fancy places, and sunny weather. Throughout the intro, we see all these images through cutouts, most of which include some sort of car shape.

The intro seamlessly transitions to the equivalent of Tommy Versetti – the main protagonist of GTA Vice City, who casually comes out of an expensive hotel, only to be greeted by a blacked-out C8 Corvette, delivered to him by a Valet. Of course, after getting in the black “Vette” he drives off casually and a “Press Start” button appears on the screen, inviting you to play this modded-out version of GTA Vice City.

The murdered-out C8 Corvette has adopted a sinister look and stands out among the vivid Miami landscape and gives you some idea of what it would be like if Batman had decided to go on a vacation on the East coast.
