We had the chance to watch the Ayrton Senna documentary yesterday, thanks to a special screening organized in Miami by trackweekend.com and we have to say that we loved it. This is a must seen for all of you who watched the Senna / Prost battle in the late 80s and early 90s. If you are too young to have witnessed the battle yourself, additional footage from the driver’s meeting and behind the scene will help you feel what was at stake. I remember watching the F1 championship myself at the time and I think this documentary adds another dimension to the fight that both driver were having on and off the track. The movie itself is well made and entertained my wife who is not even remotely a racing fan.

Go watch the Senna documentary on the big screen while you can. You deserve to watch those on board camera footage on a 50 feet screen!

I forgot add, many Motorcycle companies honored Senna. Example, look out for:

Ducati 916 Senna
MV Agusta Senna

In the last decade, couldn’t able to find almost new condition 916 Senna so I bought 999R in 2005.

A must watch for every Racing Fan and a die hard car lover. Apart from Formula 1 immortal greatness, many don’t know about contribution to the cars. He used to enjoy close relationship with late Honda, so was requested into the development of "Honda NSX" programme. And rest is the history.

IMO, super personality like Senna won’t be born again. May God rest his soul in eternal peace. Period.

Oh, that’s a sad story.. I hate to watch such movies.. I always got emotionally carried away. If Senna was a very good driver and he died on wheels, he must really dedicate his entire like into driving and maybe it’s an honor for him to die driving..

hmm. It seems that I heard a lot of documentaries regarding the legendary race car driver. I’m not really a F1 race but just reading this whole thing it makes me realize on how great this was guy.

Senna died in a car crash within the wheel of Formula One car. He was considered as an over-all champion and best driver of all time. He was just 34 when he died. This tribute for Ayrton Senna is a must to watch.
