Shaquille O'Neal turned 50 a couple of days back, and he decided to gift himself a special car to mark the milestone. Shaq picked a Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat to satisfy his adrenaline cravings, but it is fat from stock in terms of aesthetics. The NBA legend had it customized heavily and the car screams for attention. Do you like it?

What’s Special About This Dodge Charger Hellcat?

Knowing Shaq, you know his creation is going to be extravagant. The Dodge Charger Hellcat comes with a lot of changes. The Charger is sold in many bright and attractive colors, but even Dodge must find this paint job amusing. It’s got a silver and red paint job that’s as flashy as it can get. There are ‘Diesel Dog Mafia’ logos on the sides and the hood of the car. The wheels get the red treatment as well and are shod in Pirelli P Zero tires. It even features scissor doors.

Shaq didn’t give us a view of the interior, but you get a glimpse of it and it seems pretty much stock. There’s no word about any mods under the skin either. The Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is powered by the 'soon to be retired' legendary 6.2-liter, supercharged V-8 Hellcat engine that puts out 717 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. An eight-speed automatic gearbox drives the rear wheels exclusively. It takes less than four seconds to sprint to 60 mph from rest and can do quarter-mile runs in just under 12 seconds.

When your net worth is $400 million, you can do just about anything, right? Anyway. Belated birthday wishes, Shaq!
