An all-new BMW 3-Series was unveiled at the Paris motor show, but if the official gallery and information did not tell you enough about the car, then why not check out this static walkaround video by Shmee150.

When automakers have press shots of a new car taken, they make sure only to include photos showing said car from its best angles - that’s why when they are shot by outsiders if they have odd proportions or strange details, these will be more easily spotted.

We get a good look at its overall proportions, the new headlights, their startup light show, as well as their new notch detail, which continues with a crease running down the bumper and the striking new L-shaped rear lights. However, while the exterior is all very fresh and pleasant to look at, it’s probably the interior that everybody wants to see and the video also provides a detailed look inside.

Shmee shows off the new infotainment, the top-tier optional digital gauge cluster, new functions like the gesture control (complete with new gestures), the dramatic new interior design, and the improved use of space for passengers with emphasis on the extra rear legroom.

BMW might be on to a winner (again) with the G30, a possible spiritual successor to the much-loved E46 of the mid-to-late 1990s.
