It’s no wonder that BMW had a pretty uneventful New York Auto Show; they didn’t even get a chance to display all the models they brought with them.

According to the New York Post, six BMWs, including what that they decribed as the BMW 550i Sophisto, were stolen while they were being processed at the a processing center at a New Jersey port.

We haven’t really heard a whole lot about the supposed 550i Sophisto so we’re venturing a guess that this might be some kind of exclusive 5-Series with a ’Sophisto Gray’ paint job. As for the other BMWs that were boosted with the 550i Sophisto, there was a 535i xDrive, a 650i, and a 750Li xDrive. All these cars were supposed to be displayed at the New York Auto Show so you can just imagine how upset BMW was when they showed up for the event six cars short.

BMW has not yet issued a statement apart from a very short release saying that they have "provided all the information to the authorities."
We’ll keep you posted for the latest updates.

I’m pretty sure that whoever stole it is a die hard fanatic of the BMW.

HAHAHA.... I’m pretty sure that the one who stole it had the drove of his life. He can’t barely take off his hands on the steering wheel. I hope this mad man get caught up and tied up on a tree with red ants.
