The automotive world gives birth to some amazing creations. If we have to list each and every one of them so far, it will take forever. Without a doubt, we can say that some of these creations have come from Cosworth. The legendary tuner has been supplying epic powertrains for a variety of motorsports, from WRC to Formula 1, for decades. Out of all their engines, there is one that stands out. The Cosworth DFV Formula 1 V-8 is the most epic and successful engine made by the tuner.

Among its achievements are 10 Formula 1 constructor’s champions, 12 Formula 1 Driver’s champions, two 24 Hours of LeMans winners, six Formula 3,000 wins, and in its turbocharged version 10 Indy 500 wins, three USAC champions, and nine CART champions.

What you see below is a 1/3 scale model of the same engine, built by the Dutch engineers from Bouland Motors. The video is uploaded by the official US channel of the company and showcases the 76cc scaled-down model.

As far as the original engine, that one had a 2,993cc displacement and produced 400 horsepower at 9,000 RPM. At the end of its lifespan, it produced 510 horsepower at 11,200 RPM.
