If you are active on social media, you would’ve seen people trying to pick up a new hobby or skill during quarantine. Everyone is trying to keep themselves busy by doing something out of the box. If you’re still looking to pick up a skill, I’m sure this video will convince you to try out wood carving. This ‘woodsmith’ has a channel on YouTube by the name Woodworking Art where he uploads his creations. Recently, he carved a 2020 Toyota Prado Land Cruiser to absolute perfection. This video is the ultimate example of skill and craftsmanship at its finest.

That Is Some Talent

The attention to detail is astonishing. You can see him make door panels, the tailgate, and whatnot. The carver then makes the wheels, engine bay, tires with treads on it, etc. He even hinges the doors, adds some kind of faux pneumatic struts, and even carves an engine under the hood.

You would expect it to end here, but he takes it to a whole new level. He goes ahead and builds a freaking chassis, axles, and a suspension system using springs. To top it all, even the small elements like wing mirrors, roof rails, logos, badges, etc., are all taken care of. The Vietnamese craftsman has carved a lot of other models, like the F-150 Raptor, Bugatti Chiron, and so on, and all of them are equally impressive.

Conclusion

Watch the video and revel yourself in this highly intricate wooden car model video. On a lighter note, the panel gaps on this wooden model are more contained than any Tesla model to date. What are your thoughts on this gentleman’s craftsmanship? Share them with us in the comments section below.
