After being spied during some brake testing in the European Alps only two weeks ago, the Bentley GTC Speed has been caught yet again, this time at the Nürburgring race track during some hi-speed testing.

Much like the Continental GT Speed, the facelift GTC Speed will feature an aggressive front fascia, a vented hood, and new headlights. The back of the Bentley will get spruced up with a new trunk-mounted spoiler, slimmer taillights, and a revised exhaust system. This particular prototype caught testing is also sporting a new set of bigger wheels, so we expect they will find their way to the production version as well. Adding to the list of new features will be some new seats and an updated dash with a new sat navigation system.

The powerhouse under the hood is still being kept under wraps, but we expect to find a twin-turbo 6.0-liter W12 engine with a greater output than the current 600 HP. That power will be transferred through an all wheel drive system and transformed into a 0-60 mph sprint time of under 4.5 seconds. Since the future GTC Speed will be lighter than the current model, we expect greater fuel efficiency as well.

Expect the facelift Bentley Continental GTC Speed to debut by the end of 2011, with sales set to begin in early 2012.

It has a weird design but has the output performance that a sports car has. I wonder if it is really a W12 engine? Is this a typographical error? It’s the first time I heard this kind of engine. LOL

Actually, as I see this car, there’s no any special features for this one. It looks like our normal policeman car! ha ha.. However, as I read it’s details, it’s kinda amazed me at some point since it offers a powerful engine!..

The design look kinda’ odd for a Bentley. I even like the tuneup up version done by Prior Design. That one really rocks for me.

It’s funny they got caught during testing for the second time. By the way, the car looks old and obsolete, but it has the speed. That’s its only asset. If the output will be less powerful, it is going to be a mess.

I have to say that I’m impressed with the speed performance of the car. And I think its a smart move from the Bentley to used a soft roof top to avoid giving much weight to the car.

I think the Bentley have uses a soft roof top for this car for they don’t want to remove the adds-on in the interior that gives weight to the car. Well, I guess the 600 hp for this car would be the proof of its great speed.

Too bad that they haven’t modified the look of the car.. I wasn’t impressed its styling though its speed performance is just enough to make us drool. Aside from being a speedy car, I was expecting for a better fuel economy on this new model.

hmm. I have a little question here.. is the performance of the v12 is equal with the W12? Well, Bentley Continental has been the highest performing vehicle in Bentley’s line. And I would say that 600 hp is really an incredible power output.
