There is absolutely no secret at this point that Porsche is about to facelift pretty much its entire lineup. The company is busy testing all the future 911 models, but at the same time our spy photographers also caught testing the facelift Cayenne - both the standard body style and the coupe model. Today we have images of the updated Cayenne Coupe GTS that was caught playing on and around the Nurburgring track.

2023 Porsche Cayenne Coupe GTS Updates

Just like with all the other Cayenne prototypes caught testing before, the GTS is wearing very little camouflage, since the updates will be minimal. But this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone considering the Cayenne GTS Coupe made its debut in June 2020.

Up front, the 2023 Cayenne GTS will receive a more sculpted hood and redesigned headlights. The front bumper is also hiding under some camouflage, meaning it will be redesigned too. In the back, the only visible change is the slimmer taillights. If you expect to see more, you will be disappointed, as that's pretty much all the changes you will see in the facelift GTS. The idea will be just to keep the model fresh and in line with the rest of the lineup.

There will be a few changes to the interior too, most likely inspired by the new Porsche 911. The center console will be redesigned and so will the gear shifter. The dashboard will feature fully digital dials, and there will also be a new sat-nav/infotainment screen.

What will power the 2023 Porsche Cayenne Coupe GTS?

Just like with all the other models in the Cayenne lineup, the facelift GTS will carry over the current engine. This means that 2023 Cayenne GTS will have the same 4.0-liter V-8 engine that delivers 460 horsepower and 457 pound-feet of torque. While significantly more powerful than the Cayenne Coupe, the GTS is still 90 horsepower and 111 pound-feet of torque under the Turbo version. It is also 170 horsepower under the Cayenne Turbo GT and 210 horsepower under the Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid Coupe.

The sprint from 0 to 60 mph will be made in the same 4.5 seconds, or 4.2 seconds when opting for the Sport Chrono Package. Top speed will remain at 168 mph.

2023 Porsche Cayenne Coupe GTS On Sale Date

Porsche will unveil the facelift Cayenne lineup in late 2022 or early 2023. Sales will begin shortly after and prices will remain in the same $116,000 range.
