While Mercedes has officially unveiled the 2013 GLK, Audi is still testing the facelift version of their Q5. The prototype caught testing is wearing the real lights in the front and back this time, and is only being covered up with a thin stripe of tape as camouflage; the new grille and bumpers were all free of camouflage. As you can see in one of these images, the driver was none too happy about being caught behind the wheel. That’s the risk they take!

As previously announced, the new Q5 facelift will receive new headlights, a modified front grille, a redesigned front bumper with larger air intakes, and new taillights. Minor modifications will also be made on the interior and the car’s overall driving dynamics. Audi will also offer a few options in terms of power, which is a good thing considering the current model only offers one gasoline engine and two TDI units.

Expect to see the new Audi Q5 facelift launched in the coming months.

I wish Q5 had taken off a few more camouflage on its parts.

I consider the fact that TopSpeed really wanted to be the first to leak these images, but is it necessary to publicize it at this moment?

The thrill has gone. Anyway, the changes were made, and it’s all for good. The Audi looks stronger and sporty.

I wish they didn’t reveal it in the first place; it just disappointed me.

As soon as I saw its style, I knew I would like its full design. The figure is quite okay, nonetheless.

It seems like Audi is getting a bit bolder by exposing quite a few features. Sadly, those real lights are unattractive.

What are the new specifications of this facelift, why haven’t you included them in this article?

Are there no specific details about its facelift? I’m waiting for an update.
