Our spy photographers managed to catch the upcoming Lamborghini Cabrera out for a testing sessions around Nürburgring. Lamborghini tried to avoid the prying eye of the press by taking it out very early in the morning, but our guys were there and managed to take some of the clearest photos of the Cabrera yet.

The upcoming Cabrera -- the successor for the Gallardo->ke375 -- is expected to be unveiled sometime in early 2014. As usual for Lambo, the Cabrera name is inspired by a famous Spanish fighting bull, and the new supercar->ke177 is rumored to offer some new features and plenty of updated technology.

It will be built on the same same lightweight, carbon-fiber monocoque as the Aventador->ke3624, making it lighter than the current Gallardo ->ke375. Under the hood, the Cabrera will likely get a supercharged V-10 engine that produces nearly 600 horsepower.

We expect to see the Lamborghini Cabrera->ke3804 will be revealed in March 2014 at the Geneva Motor Show->ke228.

2014 Lamborghini Cabrera -- TopSpeed Renderings

We created a few renderings of the 2014 Lamborghini Cabrera based on the spy shots that we've received, and the above image is the latest. We expect the Carrera to look like a more aggressive version of the Gallardo -- the car it replaces. We expect to see thinner headlights, revised taillights, enlarged rear air intakes and a front apron that looks more like the Aventador's apron.

We'll see soon enough if out renderings are accurate!

Spy shots

These are far and away the clearest spy shots of the Cabrera that we've seen yet. It's clear that the Cabrera will get a new face when compared to the current Gallardo, with elements inspired by both the Aventador->ke3624 and the Sesto Elemento.

Up front, you can see new headlights and a new bumper with larger air intakes that give the Cabrera a more aggressive look than the Gallardo. On the side, there are extra air vents, and on the rear, we expect new taillights, a new bumper and a sportier exhaust system.
