Mercedes has already previewed the next generation A-Class with the concept version, and as the concept shows, the next A-Class has nothing in common with the model it replaces. The A-Class has been called outdated, unimpressive, and even ugly, but Mercedes hopes the next generation will change all of that.

This new generation A-Class heads straight for the BMW 1-Series and the Audi A3 in terms of its compact shape which it will take directly from the concept. It will drop the current box design and will be offered in both hatchback - to be revealed first - and sedan versions. Rumors suggest that Mercedes will also bring a three door hatch, as well as a convertible version.

As for the engine line-up, it is rumored that the next A-Class will be offered with the same engines as the C-Class. This would mean an array of both petrol and diesel engines ranging from 120 to 306 HP. An AMG version will also be offered.

Expect the new A-Class to be revealed in early 2012 with sales beginning shortly thereafter.

I was impressed with the speed performance of the car though I’m not sure on what will be the final styling of the car since it was hidden on camouflage.

If not mistaken, the Mercedes have promise to reveal this car in the Frankfurt Motor Show. I was impressed with the speed performance of the car.

I still can’t figure out on what will be the outcome of this vehicle since it was hidden behind its camouflage. I was impressed with the concept of this car.

Well, I’m glad to suppose that the Mercedes has a continuous demonstration for this car. The deliver power output of the vehicle is quite powerful.

The styling must be improved and the way I see it. It is more of a police car. It is very simple it does not make any class effect. You will not be able to recognize that this is a Mercedes car on the first look.

For me, I don’t see this one as interesting as the E-Class. The design looks kinda’ odd for a Mercedes.

With the all the A-Class model this car has the only hideous styling! I think it would be better if Mercedes will improve its styling and upgrade in the speed performance before they announced a debut.

Yay! I don’t like the newer platform of this vehicle it look so edgy and lack of spoiler. Plus, the speed performance is not that impressive. I bet this is not the best option in the market.
