I know how you mates feel down under- you get excited for a car and then the brand goes ahead and takes it away from you at the intial launch - this is the case with the new Impreza sedan in Australia.

At its initial launch, there will only be the Impreza coupe, and no Sedan. Why is there no sedan for Aussies at first? Drive.com.au Reports that "strong demands by Americans" will keep the sedan out of down under drivers for "around 12 months."

12 months after the sedan is launched in the America , which is Subaru’s "strongest demand " Impreza, Australia will be able to begin selling the sedan. Australia’s managing director Trevory Amery stated "they will have a hard time maintaining sales volumes with the hatchback alone."
