Subaru’s got some April Fools humor after all

At any other point in your life, having a dog drive your car is pretty much the most idiotic thing you can ever do.

But if you watch these two new ads from Subaru, you’d think that it could actually work.

In the spirit of April Fool’s, Subaru released two new ads featuring two dog buddies riding in a Subaru Forester. One of them is involves waiting for a parking spot where they got beaten to the paw by – of all pets – a feline cat. The other ad takes these two same dogs at a stopping at a red light and after reading a ‘Stop’ road sign, proceeds to jump out of the SUV and circles it before hopping back in.

We got a good chuckle after watching the first commercial but we, quite frankly, had a tough time understanding what the second one was all about.

Then again, there’s a reason why its April Fools, right?

David Hasselhoff didn’t leave much of an impression on him (that happened later on in Baywatch), but KITT certainly did. To this day, Kirby remains convinced that he will one day own a car with the same ‘spirit’ as the original KITT (not the 2008 monstrosity). He doesn't know when that will be, but until then, he’s committed to expressing his love for KITT, and all cars for that matter, here at TopSpeed.  Read More

haha! This one is totally funny. But I was wondering, what is the meaning of their tag line, "Dog Tested. Dog Approved"? Does other cars not safe for dogs?

Lol. The first video is hilarious. Of all the drivers that would steal from a dog, its a cat. lol. To think that the victims are two dogs, why didn’t they brawl or something. Well, I think that the second video is saying that the car if good for pets, something that pet lovers may like. I don’t know, I didn’t get the message as well.

Oh yeah it’s already April those boys are so bored. I wonder how much plastic vinyl does it cost to wrap a single car. Good thing that they wrapped a small vehicle.

Subaru made fun of it! And does makes sense at all. I’ve been thinking on where did they get the idea of using the pets to drive the vehicles? I hope I won’t be seeing dogs on a motorbikes (just kidding).

I love the facial expression of the dogs after the cat stole their parking slots.
